Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Made in Home collects from you as a customer, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

1. What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address and phone number, provided when you sign up.
• Project details — your site address, plot and built-up area, the scope you select, and any floor plans or documents you upload for estimation.
• Location — if you grant permission, your approximate location, used to pre-fill your site address and to show verified partners near you. You can decline this and enter the address manually.
• Site photographs — progress images captured against your project during execution.
• Payment records — the amount, status and gateway reference for each payment. Card and bank details are entered on the payment gateway’s own page and are never received or stored by Made in Home.
• Technical data — the IP address of requests, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

2. Why we use it

To produce your estimate, create and route your project, assign a verified partner, take payment, track milestones, and support you. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who it is shared with

• The partner assigned to your project — receives the details needed to execute the work, including your site address and contact number.
• Our payment gateway — processes your transaction and is the sole holder of your payment instrument details.
• Our email provider — delivers one-time passcodes and transactional notifications.
• Where the law requires disclosure.

4. Security

Sessions are held in httpOnly, Secure cookies that browser JavaScript cannot read — see the Cookie Policy. All traffic is served over HTTPS. Access to your project is restricted to you, the partner assigned to it, and authorised Made in Home staff.

5. Your choices

• You can review and correct your details from your profile.
• You can decline location access without losing any other functionality.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data — see Settings.
