Service Delivery, Cancellation & Refund Policy

How your project is delivered, what you pay and when, and what happens if you cancel.

1. How service is delivered

Made in Home is a service platform, not a physical goods store — there is nothing to ship. Delivery means execution of the construction, architectural, interior or execution scope you booked, carried out at your site by a KYC-verified partner assigned through the platform.

Work is tracked against a milestone plan visible in your project. Each milestone is marked complete only after an OTP you provide is verified on site, so no stage can be closed without your confirmation.

2. Estimates

Estimates are generated from our standardised BOQ and material catalogue. They are indicative until the scope is locked; once locked, changes require a revised estimate and are quoted separately.

3. Payment schedule

4. Payment failures

A payment is only treated as settled once it is confirmed and verified against the payment gateway. If a payment fails or is cancelled, your booking stays unconfirmed and you can retry — no amount is captured. If money has left your account but the project still shows the payment as pending, contact support with the gateway reference before paying again.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel from your project before work begins. Once execution has started, cancellation is handled case by case against the work already completed and materials already procured.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through the payment gateway. Refunds for cancellations before work starts are processed per the cancellation terms shared with you at booking.
